Introduction:

The firm was established in 1963 by John Ragg and was operated as a sole practioner firm until 1976 when he was joined by three other Partners. 

In 1989 the firm merged with another practice and became known as Ragg Weir. The practice has grown to include computer services and to take on financial services through a strategic alliance with Richard Salter.

There are currently eight (8) Partners of the firm with approximately 40 staff.

The firm is committed to serving clients with a wide range of professional services, delivered promptly, competently and efficiently by experienced and qualified partners and staff.

The key areas of speciality are all of the traditional areas of accountancy, audit and business services, together with financial planning and computer services.

The firm is providing a wide range of business and financial advice to the SME market.  Clients have access to their engagement partner at all times, and this “hands on” approach gives clients the confidence that their affairs are being closely maintained by their advisor.  This is in contrast to larger firms where partner contact is a rarity.
